Ashley Michelle Tisdale (2 de julio de 1985) es una actriz, cantante y modelo estadounidense, famosa por su papel como co-protagonista en la película de Disney Channel High School Musical, en cuyas secuelas High School Musical 2 y High School Musical 3: Senior Year repitió su papel como Sharpay Evans, aunque su carrera como actriz comenzó varios años antes. Durante su infancia y de la mano de Bill Perlman, tomó parte en el rodaje de más de 100 anuncios de televisión, y más tarde participó en series televisivas entre las cuales destaca la sitcom infantil Zack y Cody: Gemelos en Acción (Hotel Dulce Hotel: Las aventuras de Zack y Cody en España). Inició su carrera musical a principios de 2007 con el lanzamiento de Headstrong, su álbum debut con el cual ha vendido más de 1 millón de copias alrededor del mundo. Actualmente aporta su voz para el personaje de Candance Flynn en la serie de Disney Channel Phineas y Ferb, además de participar como protagonista en la película Picture This! y próximamente en They Came From Upstairs, la cual será estrenada a principios de 2009. Actualmente se encuentra trabajando en Guilty Pleasure su segundo álbum de estudio, el cual saldrá a la venta el 16 de junio de 2009 en Estados Unidos.

Además de aparecer como modelo publicitaria en anuncios televisivos, Tisdale ha alcanzado la fama prematura a través de la participación en series de televisión, pero el salto definitivo lo consiguió gracias a su interpretación como cantante, actriz y bailarina en el largometraje para televisión High School Musical, donde interpretó el papel de Sharpay Evans que le dio el reconocimiento de la prensa especializada y además del empujón definitivo para lanzar su carrera musical como solista.
